Over 50 years ago, a group of people felt God's call to plant a church in Vero Beach, FL. First meeting in a house, that group of believers soon began gathering at the corner of 12th Street and 27th Ave at what is now Vero Beach Nazarene Church. And every day since people have been sacrificing and serving to help advance the Kingdom of God.
In recent years, we have put an emphasis on coming along side and helping families. From SonFest to Grade Aid Tutoring, and now more recently with Vero Beach Academy and STEAM Fest, we seek out ways to intentionally give families opportunities to be together.
And now, God's vision is taking us into a brand new territory. Shady Oaks Park, located at 12th Street and 27th Ave, will be a neighborhood park where families with kids and teens can come, hang out, and feel safe and secure. It will be a place where conversations can happen, exercise occurs, and a neighborhood knows it's welcome!
