What is Advent?
The word Advent means "arrival." For Christians, Advent is a season of anticipation and preparation as we reflect on the hope, peace, joy, and love that the coming of Jesus Christ brings to our lives. Spanning the four Sundays leading up to Christmas, Advent invites us to slow down, remember God’s promises, and look forward to the fulfillment of His ultimate gift—Jesus. It’s a time to prepare our hearts for the celebration of Christ’s birth, while also looking ahead to His return. Through prayer, reflection, and community, Advent calls us to embrace the season with authenticity, allowing us to deepen our faith and share in the excitement of God’s love made manifest in the world.

In this video, we’ll explore how we can live generously in our time, resources, and love, following the example set by Jesus. Join us as we embrace the call to be a light of generosity in our world this season.
